Venus is one of two leopard mares that we
imported from Tanzivan Spotted Ponies in England in 2000. We are
very grateful to Michael & Dorothy Spalding for allowing us the opportunity
to purchase these two fine miniature mares. They are both super sweet
and of course very gorgeous, as you can see.
Venus aborted her first foal in 2004, but
is bred back to our loud black leopard, Dierckman's Spotted Blue Wolf for
a 2005 foal. We are very excited for the arrival of their foal!
Venus' pedigree is packed full of leopards and few spot leopards.
Tanzivan Toulon, her sire is by a black leopard named "Jerry" and the dam
is a black leopard named "Furzefield Carousel". Venus' dam is also
by Tanzivan Toulon X Hillyfield Emma, a bay. We are excited to have
Venus in our appaloosa breeding program!! |
