Prudence was my very first broodmare and one
of my most favorites. She will always have a home here at our farm.
She is an excellent producer, always producing a nice show quality foal
for us. Prudence's sire is a grandson on Shadow
Oak's Paul Bunyan and her dam is a daughter of the Falabella mare,
Regina, who is the dam of Pepper. She carries
the cremella gene and possibly the champagne gene. She has gorgeous
amber brown eyes and she always produces the most interesting colored foals.
We purchased her in 1995, so we have many of her fine offspring in our
breeding program. Some of her outstanding offspring are: Whispering
Oak's Snowhite- cremella mare, Mini-Go-Round's Little Boy Blue-chocolate
dapple stallion; Mini-Go-Round's Aladdin-silver buckskin homozygous pinto
gelding; Mini-Go-Round's Moonlight Maiden-silver buckskin mare, Mini-Go-Round's
Ace's X-Caliber-buckskin pinto stallion, Mini-Go-Round's Pocahontas-chocolate
dapple & white pinto mare with one blue eye, Mini-Go-Round's Easter
Bunny-chocolate dapple mare, Mini-Go-Round's Sir Lancelot-chocolate dapple
pinto stallion, and Mini-Go-Round's Sir Galahad-grulla pinto colt.
She had also produced a buckskin pinto, a chocolate dapple, and a black
and white pinto for her original owners. |
