At AMHR Nationals in 1999, we first saw
Garth's awesome miniature daughter, CSF
Pam Tillis, compete & win time and time again. Shortly thereafter,
we very fortunate to be able to purchase Pam Tillis for our daughters to
show & Pam became our most famous show horse ever, winning an incredible
64 National Champions & Reserves in AMHR & PtHA, 6 AMHR Hall of
Fame awards & numerous high point awards in both PtHA & AMHR.
When we first went to pick Pam up, we found out Garth Brooks was also for
sale, and we simply had to have the sire who produced such an awesome show
mare as Pam. Garth is a gentle and graceful stallion and has proven
himself many times over by continually producing other winning offspring
besides Pam Tillis, such as HOF and Congress Champion CSF
Mickey Gilley and PtHA Champion Country
Stars Hank Williams. We are keeping a son of Garth's to
continue our shetland breeding program...MGR's
Braveheart. Some of Garth's other outstanding offspring
are.. CSF Kitty Wells, CSF
Brenda Lei, MGR's Stunning In Lace,
MGR's Stunning Crystal, & Lizzy.
Garth himself was shown on a limited basis by his previous owner.
Garth is one of the featured stallions in Pat Elder's new (2008-09) "Outstanding
Shetlands" book. We intended to show him ourselves, but our daughters
were not old enough to show a shetland stallion at that time and so we
just kept him for breeding purposes. Since we primarily breed miniatures
and only breed very few shetlands & our daughters are now in college
& law school,
we are currently offering Garth Brooks for
