| Blizzard is our newest addition to our appaloosa breeding program. He adds some exciting new appaloosa bloodlines to our breeding program. Both his sire and dam are out of the Hall of Fame bay leopard stallion, LHR Sizzler. His sire is a stunning black leopard appaloosa, LHR Tattoo'd Twizzler and his dam is a bay appaloosa, LHR Sizzler's Glamour Girl. We are very excited to have Blizzard a part of our breeding program! BELIEVE IT or NOT.... Blizzard actually tested HOMOZYGOUS for BLACK & negative for CHESTNUT & to date he is producing all Black Based foals!!! See Blizzard's first foals here... at this link...Blizzardfoals. Why he looks red, I do not know. I think he belongs in Ripley's Believe It or Not!!! ...as the Black horse who looks red!!! His previous owners said he looked black when they purchased him as a youngster, but changed to red when they moved him to Texas! I will be testing him further to see if he carries perhaps a dun gene, which his breeders thought perhaps he might. Blizzard is 33" tall and he is AMHR registered. He was foaled 8-1-01.
